The unmissable annual event ‘Piemonte Grappa, alla Corte dell'Alambicco’ is back. Once again this year, twelve distilleries in Piedmont, members of the Consortium for the Protection of Grappa from Piedmont and Grappa from Barolo, will open their doors to the public: it will take place on Sunday, 6 October, and all those attending will be treated to a rich and special welcome. It is, as always, an opportunity to get a close look at the art of ‘lambiccare’, which has historical, artisanal and traditional characteristics, to get to know the world of grappa and distillation and to meet its protagonists, at a particular time of year that sees, following the harvest, the arrival of fresh pomace at the distillery.

Each company organises tours of the distillation plants, the ageing cellars and offers product tastings, also in combination or through specific events. Everyone is therefore invited to the Beccaris distillery in Boglietto di Costigliole d'Asti, Berta in Mombaruzzo, Dellavalle in Vigliano d'Asti, Francoli in Ghemme, Gualco in Silvano d'Orba, Levi Serafino in Neive, Magnoberta in Casale Monferrato, Mazzetti d'Altavilla in Altavilla Monferrato, Marolo in Alba, Montanaro in Gallo d'Alba, Revel Chion in Chiaverano and Sibona in Piobesi d'Alba.
