Friday December, 13th at 5.30 p.m. at the Museo Diocesano di San Giovanni in Via Natta 36 in Asti will be inaugurated the solo exhibition by Isabella Distretti "LO STUPORE DELLA LUCE. La Natività tra storia e leggenda" (The Nativity between history and legend), which presents a series of works inspired by episodes narrated in the apocryphal Gospels of Jesus’ childhood. The exhibition presents a series of works on paper illustrating the passages that most stimulated the artist's spiritual research: matter dialogues with pure light to express the mystery of God-Light who, through the Son, manifests Himself in the world.
The exhibition will be open until Sunday, February, 2nd 2025 with the following opening times:
Friday 3pm-6pm
Saturday and Sunday 9.30-13 and 15-18.
On the remaining days of the week by appointment at museo@sicdat.it or by telephone on +39 351 707 7031. Possibility of guided tours by appointment.
