On the occasion of the events organized by the City of Alba to commemorate the dramatic flood of 1994, the Gruppo Fotografico Albese (GFA) brings to the attention and makes public the photographic material produced and collected by the circle during those terrible days. Material that is also collected in the volume produced with the Friends of the Eusebio Museum Association “November 1994 the Flood - The roots of a catastrophe.” Photographs that recount what happened along the axis of the Tanaro River and its tributaries, from the upper valley all the way to the Alessandria area. It is important to bring attention to what nature can unleash on the territory if it is not properly managed. The Photographic Group wants to involve the municipalities directly affected by the flood, the authorities in charge in the area and schools of all levels.
The Exhibition can be visited at the Foyer of the Social Theater “G. Busca” from Nov. 4 to 17 during the following hours: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, November 14th at 9pm - Sala storica del Teatro - Testimonies 30 years later - the protagonists
Saturday, November 16 from 3pm to 4pm - Guided Tour of the Exhibition at the Foyer of the Theater
