Saturday 19 October at 5 p.m. inauguration of the exhibition Don Meyranesio da Pietraporzio: integer scholar or licensed forger? dedicated to the figure of Don Meyranesio, a multi-faceted character who is still being questioned today: he was in fact a parish priest, historian, traveller, writer, scholar, epigraphist or perhaps even a forger. For years, people tried to figure out whether his works were reliable or invented, and only recently has more been discovered about him.
The exhibition, set up in the Luciano Maccario room of the Federico Eusebio Museum in Alba, will be open until 29th December during museum opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 7 p.m.
