At the new exhibition venue “Pow Gallery” in the deconsecrated church of San Carlo in Piovà Massaia (AT), the exhibition “SNEZHOK” by Russian artist Olga Buneeva curated by Andrea Sanvittore will be inaugurated on April, 18th 2025 at 5.30pm. The exhibition will be open until May, 4th by booking a visit on +39 335 5350025 (also WhatsApp). Olga Buneva defines herself as a “Third Generation Mutant”, an identity that stems from her personal history as the granddaughter of a woman scarred by post-war Soviet radiation. But this expression can also be extended to her art. With SNEZHOK, she now reaches the third powerful mutation in her journey in which she explores the sense of belonging, memory and the disintegration of identity. A return to matter: ceramics and pigments to arrive at the essential, at the Earth, interweaving two complementary visions. Memory, body and soul intertwine in his artistic work, transforming pain into living matter. Art as collective memory and a warning for future generations.
