On Saturday, 7th and Sunday, 8th of June, the Corsa delle Botti takes place in Nizza Monferrato.
During the event, wineries compete by rolling heavy barrels through the streets of the historic centre, an ancient tradition dating back to the 19th century. In Piazza Garibaldi with Monferrato in tavola you can taste traditional dishes with the Pro Loco of Nizza Monferrato and neighbouring towns.
