In Cherasco on May 16-17-18 a great weekend of culture dedicated to History and Stories: the first edition of the Cherasco Tra Le Storie Festival will flank the 24th edition of the Cherasco Storia Prize.
The inspirational theme of the event is the idea of storytelling, understood as the expression in words, sounds, images and suggestions of the wonderful and complicated human universe. The meetings, spread throughout the city, including themed book presentations, lectures, performances and music will all be free.
It will start on Friday, May 16, in the morning with the appointment, organized in collaboration with Confindustria Cuneo, for students participating in the Cherasco History Prize. Also on Friday evening, grand opening of the Cherasco Tra Le Storie Festival with a Lectio Magistralis by Prof. Umberto Galimberti - free admission subject to availability - and the subsequent presentation of the Cherasco Storia Lifetime Achievement Award to Christian Greco, director of the Egyptian Museum in Turin.
Over the three days the following will take turns on the Cherasco stages : Enrico Brizzi, Nicoletta Romanoff, Mario Desiati, Franco Arminio, Eleazaro Rossi, Melania Mazzucco, Walter Veltroni, Luciano Violante and many others.
