Have you always wanted to know more about the Romanesque architecture of Asti and visit the numerous parish churches scattered throughout the territory? Now you can, thanks to guided trekking tours that will take you on a discovery of the territory and the history that links the various villages.

The first date could only be the Vezzolano Rectory, an undisputed gem of the Romanesque period so much so that it has been included among the sites of Transromanica, a network of European Romanesque itineraries.

The itinerary allows you to enjoy some of the most beautiful panoramas of Lower Monferrato, alternating between vineyards, woods and lavender fields, admiring jewels of the past full of stories to tell.

When: Sunday, 16 June, 9 a.m. Saturday, 6 July, 5 p.m., Sunday, 1 September, 9 a.m.

Duration: between 4 and 6 hours, including stops (3.30 walking time). Return in the late afternoon.

What to bring: suitable clothing and footwear, trekking poles (optional), hat, water, packed lunch. Food and drinks are available at the Abbey Kiosk in the square in front of the Vezzolano Rectory.
