The majestic entrance to the Dogliani Cemetery, one of the most original works of local architect Giovanni Battista Schellino, is an imposing eclectic neo-Gothic portal in red brick, enriched with elegant pinnacles and spires.
Handcrafted bricks adorned with symbols such as the alpha and omega, wrought iron gates, friezes, and crosses enliven the entire complex, containing the tomb of Luigi Einaudi, first President of the Italian Republic and distinguished economist, whose estate was in Dogliani. The red portal stands out on the horizon as an irresistible call to admire the creativity of the "Gaudí of the Langhe".
