Come explore the Territorial Paleontological Museum of Asti, or Fossils Museum, housed in the "Palazzo del Michelerio". A journey recounting the most important geological and paleontological events since 25 million years ago, when Asti and Monferrato were covered by a tropical sea.
In these halls, fossils of whales and dolphins are displayed in a collection of cetaceans among the most important in Europe. Finally, a large aquarium reconstructs a coral seabed similar to those that occupied these territories approximately 20 million years ago.
