The church, documented since 1225, was transformed into a masterpiece by an extraordinary cycle of frescoes, painted between 1490 and 1530: 19 works distributed over 34 meters of wall surface, narrating salient moments in Christ's life, from his arrival in Jerusalem to the Resurrection, through the Last Supper and Judas’s betrayal.
