Discover the Castle of Cisterna d'Asti, an imposing structure from the 9th century that over the centuries evolved from a fortress to a baroque-style noble residence.
It dominates the surrounding hilly landscape, protected by high walls, and is accessed through an ancient arch adorned with the papal coat of arms of Innocent XII, a testament to the influential role of the Church in its history. Today it’s home to the Museum of Arts and Crafts of Times Past, where around 4,000 antique objects reconstruct courtyards and artisan workshops, providing precious testimony of the local culture.
