13 October is the National Day of Families at the Museum, a day on which to visit museums in Italy with the whole family.
The theme chosen for the 2024 edition, ‘A GREEN MUSEUM’, will focus on ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY in culture.
Once again this year, the Diocesan Museum of Alba accepts the challenge and organises an afternoon of educational activities dedicated to families, on the theme of recycling in art, yesterday and today. Exploring the rooms of the museum, boys and girls will be able to recognise and find ancient materials recycled to create new works of art that have been preserved to this day. Then, using recycled materials brought from home, participants will be able to rework and create their own work of art.
Two rounds of activities will be organised: 3.30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
ADMISSION FEES: 3 € adults, 1.50 € children. Free activity.
Recommended age: 5 - 12 years.
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS: Small groups will be created during the visit, so booking is compulsory.
