On Sunday 22 December, Cortanze dresses up for the festive season, with a series of initiatives and events organised by the municipality together with the Basso Monferrato Astigiano Ecomuseum.
During the day, in the beautiful and evocative Castle Park, the Christmas markets can be visited and guided visits to the town's churches are planned, with free admission.
In addition, at 11.30 a.m. and, in repetition, at 3.30 p.m., ‘Quei miracoli della Notte di Natale’ (Those Miracles of Christmas Night) will be staged, the travelling show by Casa degli Alfieri that transforms every corner of the village into a stage. The play will be enriched by Gabriella Amerio's ‘history pills’, who will tell some historical anecdotes about Cortanze and give a tour of the Tinelli family's ‘Crotin di Salvin’. The meeting point is in Piazza Marconi, where it will also be possible to park your car.
