On Sunday 3 November, the Museum and the Diocesan Library of Alba are organising an afternoon of Inclusive Reading Aloud.
Young and old readers alike will be welcomed to the Mudi to discover the stories of the stone lion of the medieval cathedral translated into the symbols of Alternative Augmentative Communication. The activity continues in the Diocesan Library to read together new stories, illustrated and made of symbols.
Two rounds of activities will be organised: 3 pm and 4.30 pm. Participation is free of charge.
Symbol books are a useful tool for people with complex communication needs, for children and foreigners, for children who have not yet learned to read, to make the museum and library inclusive and suitable for ALL
