A special event for truffle lovers and also a sustainable experience: every ticket sold contributes to support the environment and to preserve the area's biodiversity. At the end of the season, the money raised will allow new truffle trees to be planted.
Are you interested in the world of truffles? Have you always wanted to discover the history and tradition behind this precious subterranean mushroom?
This is the tour for you! A guided tour of the newly created Mudet, the Truffle Museum: ten exhibition rooms full of information, videos and relics of tradition, which also houses a permanent exhibition of some of the shots taken by the famous photographer Steve McCurry.
But there is more to it: at the end of the visit, in a small green area nearby, you can meet a "trifulao", a truffle hunter, who will tell you all the secrets of his job.
When: from 11 October to 23 December, every Friday at 11am and every Monday at 3pm.
