Discover the medieval castle of Monticello, a splendid testimony of fortified architecture in the Roero region that has undergone refined transformations over time yet is still owned by the Counts Roero of Monticello.

Restored and expanded in 1348, the work of architect Rangone in 1785 gives the castle a 17th-century aura, while the elegant gardens, curated by famous German landscapist Xavier Kurten in 1827, enhance its charm.

Explore the armory, the courtyard, and the towers for an exciting journey into the feudal past, and admire from its ramparts a marvelous hilly landscape!
