From 14 to 22 December, Dogliani will host the first edition of Trifule, Mercato del Tartufo di Dogliani e delle Alte Terre di Langa, a pilot event dedicated to the white truffle of Alba. The initiative, which aims to valorise the truffles of the Langhe and their protagonists - truffle hunters and dogs - aims to bring the public closer to this precious product in a simple and authentic way.
Trifule is organised in collaboration with the Bottega del Vino di Dogliani, which will host the event in its historical spaces. During the two weekends, visitors will be able to take part in a closed-bid auction to win prized pieces and taste truffle dishes accompanied by local wines in the evocative 16th-century underground rooms.
In addition to truffles from local truffle hunters, the market will host artisanal producers of cheeses, cured meats and preserves, offering a unique opportunity to discover the flavours of the territory.
The programme includes entertainment and cultural initiatives, designed to enrich visitors' experience.
